Seeing as how many Mommys and Daddys are going to be spending some late nights in the coming week, I figured I would take a moment to pay tribute to some of you all as well as procrastinate a bit more on my grading. But most importantly, I was inspired to write an entry because of a dear friend, Michelle Cole. She married my best friend a few years back and like some others, she always has a good story to tell. You should check our her blog....
or Anna Meyer, she is another one who can "paint a picture" with her words.
Of coure they use pictures quite a bit, and that is what I am going to have to do with mine.
Main point-idea of this blog entry: Tell about MY NEW CHRISTMAS TREE!
Yes, my University, Hung Vuong University, they decided to purchase a Christmas tree and some ornaments. Thank you to those of you who are so supportive of me, LCMS World Mission, and the ongoing work in English as a Foreign Language here in North Vietnam. What an awesome gift and wonderful surprise. The Spirit of the season moves....believe that....
A cute stocking, I must say. I wonder who will fill it up for me? Mom, o dau?
"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells".....Jingle all the way..
and a Santa (Ong Gia Noel), given to me by the little girl at the photo shop.
Thank you, Chau Phuong!
Ok, there it is...15-30 minutes. I should be able to do this each day, right? If I can tell my students to practice speaking for 15 minutes, I certainly can write some entries. Thank you for checking in! OOPS, forgot the checkind and editing: Now it is 1:41...where does the time go??
Blessings, Immanuel
James
